Description

NGC 2346 is a small planetary nebula in Monoceros. Also called the "Bug" or "Butterfly" nebula, it is about 55 arcseconds in size. This was taken over 7 nights between Feb 6th and 20th, 2023. RGB for color and Ha/O3 for Luminance. I had to take a lot more frames than were used. Despite the good seeing at this site, I had to be fussy about what frames were good enough for something this small.
