Decided to reprocess some data from January 2022 that I wasn't super happy with. The data was decent but had a lot of flaws that made it somewhat difficult to work with. Overall happy with how it turned out!
Targets details:
The Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405, Sh 2-229) is an emission and reflection nebula located approx. 1,500 light-years from Earth and is around 5 light-years across. The nebula surrounds the hot blue star AE Aurigae, whose light reflects off the surrounding gas
The Tadpoles Nebula (IC 410) is located 12,000 light-years away and is over 100 light-years across. The nebula is named for the shape of its interior dust and gas streams, which are over 10 light-years in length. This region is carved out by the open star cluster NGC 1893.
