Non avendo avuto una risposta certa in merito alla forte luminosità registrata sulla luna Gioviana "IO", ho fatto qualche approfondimento. In particolare ho ripreso la texture che avvolge le proiezioni di Winjupos e facendo vari tentativi ho contrassegnato con una X la zona incriminata (FIG 1). Dopodiché ho utilizzato questa nuova texture per riavvolgere la proiezione di Winjupos del 14/11/2014 t.u. 04:39. Il confronto tra la proiezione e la mia ripresa coincide (FIG 2). A questo punto ho utilizzato la cartografia delle zone vulcaniche di "IO", dove sono stati evidenziati tutti i fenomeni registrati da terra ed ho sovrapposto la mappa alla texture winjupos. Il punto, che ho cerchiato in azzurro, si trova in una zona molto attiva, tra i vulcani Marduk e Zamama ed è anche a bassa riflettività (FIG 3).

Avendo ottenuto le stesse immagini da riprese diverse in R ed IR ed utilizzando sia REGISTAX che AS2, scarterei l'ipotesi artefatti. Anche nel RAW si nota senza bisogno di particolari processing. Chi mi aiuta a capire?

Not having had a definite answer as to how bright recorded on the Jovian moon "Io", i did some investigation. In particular, i took the texture that surrounds the Winjupos projections and making several attempts, i marked an X in the offending area (Figure 1). Then i used the new texture to rewind the Winjupos projection of 2014/11/14 ut 04:39. The comparison between the projection and my picture coincides (Figure 2). I used the mapping volcanic areas of "Io", where they were shown all the phenomena recorded from terrestral telescopes and I superimposed the map to the texture winjupos. The point, which i have circled in blue, is located in a very active area, between the volcanoes Marduk and Zamama and is also low reflectivity (Figure 3).

Having achieved the same pictures from different shots in R and IR and using both AS2 and REGISTAX i think that are not artifacts. Even in RAW can be seen without any special processing.
