Description

Supernova SN2023ixf in M101 May 27, year 2023-(2e+7)

Supernova SN2023ixf burst into view on May 19th.  In this case, about 20 million years ago!  

It looks like it's going to be a while before we have some clear nights in SoCal.  I think we're at four months of cloudiness, save for a few hours here and there.  I was only able to get about an hour of exposures on this one, and it's a bit noisy, but I was determined to capture it.
