Description

Even I am not a real fan of globular clusters, I had to image the king of them of course when it is under optimum conditions in front of my nose. I find the amount of smaler stars very impressive. GC's are very old objects and as I remember, their existance is not fully understood. How can they keep their shape without falling together. I had a little discussion with a friendly colleague from Cologne at the beautiful astrofarm Kiripotib while observing it visually in a 24" dobsonian, which was extremely impressive by the way. For me it's a good reason to find out more about them in the internet. For the moment I have more questions than answers. Please enjoy under full resolution.
