Description

This object had no particular interest other than being in a good position to make use of the darkness left after the Omega and Eagle Nebulae passed out of view and large enough to suit the reducer FOV. However it does mean it got quite a bit of time. Oiii is particularly faint but Sii has a bit more signal.
After one session of each filter subsequent sessions rotated the filters to incrementally bump up the signal-to-noise.

Title: Less is more? HSS experiment

Description: Rather than try and get more from the Oiii than it's got to give I decided to experiment a bit. I've never tried a HSS palette before but it proably won't be the last time.... The stars are HSO to get a bit more contrast.

Title: NGC6828 - Pixinsight SHO reprocess

Description: Reprocessed from scratch in PI. Better than old HSO version but stars still not quite right. Pity not enough subs to drizzle but....
Time for bed!
