Description

SH2-104 is a small emission nebula in the Cygnus Constellation. I only noticed it a few weeks ago while imaging the Sadr region in wide-field with a 135mm lens. I then decided to image it with the 800mm telescope. It is probably too small to really appreciate the details in full but I think it still looks nice. This is a narrowband HOO false colour image obtained by combining 300s x 18 Ha subs with 300s x 13 Oiii subs. Not so many Oiii subs because I had a sudden power outage!
