Centaurus A is one of the closest major elliptical galaxies to us (~10 ly). So far, 271 confirmed globular clusters have been identified in this galaxy. For reference, The Milky Way has ~160 globular clusters. M87 takes the cake with ~15,000!
I thought it would be interesting to see how they are spread out over the FOV. I downloaded the GC co-ordinates from Simbad and annotated using PixInsight.
