Description

Jones 1 ( PNG 104.2-29.6 )

Just a few subs shot in a hazy sky before clouds rolled in. It was the first time a star had shown itself for ten nights.

This is an R, GOIII, BOIII image. The OIII has been added to the Green channel at 15%, and 300% to the blue channel.

A nice image of this by FrankIM06 can be found here.

Quasar QSO J233604.7+302355 lies to the left of Jones 1 see crop in REV B. It's 10.2 billion light years away and so bright my small scope can see it amazing!

Rev C: Added 3 hours of OIII and 90 minutes of Ha. 1st look RGB stars added.

Rev D: Another process with a deconvoloution.

Rev E: added a cropped insert of the Quasar using a tutorial from Sara Wager found here.

It's really easy to follow. I used PS CS2. Thanks Sara.
