Description

The field arround NGC 2998, a nice spiral viewed angled from the side. This another crowded field with lots of galaxys. Have a look at the annotated image. The crop details the surrounding field of NGC2998, showcasing PGC28208 - a cosmic "boomerang" ;-).
Captured in France at Olly Penrice's Les Granges with a Tec140, Atik11000 on an Avalon Linear.
Processing in PI (DBE, MLT, HT, HDRMT). Also had to remove some remaining dust bunnies in PS.
