Description

The top photo was shot April 2021, from dark skies in Escalante, UT, when my astrophotography skills were even more rudimentary than now, with a Celestron C8 and a Nikon D750.  Early in the hobby, I hadn't yet developed a system to record details on exposure length, # frames, etc. so I don't have acquisition details on the top image.  Notably absent is the bright white-blue ball noted in the photo below, taken on the night of 5/21, with better equipment and a few more skills, though through hazy, light polluted skies.  Had to throw out much of the data I otherwise could've gotten because of clouds.  The acquisition details here noted are for the bottom photo from this past Sunday night.  Clouds this week are preventing further observations.   Many on here have much better images of this same target, and I enjoy all the variety of renditions.
