Description

Perhaps the most famous star cluster.
Made up of more than 1,000 stars, this open cluster is located in the constellation Taurus, some 440 light years away, and is passing through a cloud of dust which translates into these beautiful blue reflection nebulae.
This cluster is made up of hot blue stars whose formation dates back around 100 million years. It is undoubtedly a cluster whose beauty is unquestionable!
Its brightest stars are called the famous 7 sisters:
Asterope; Electra; Merope; Maia; Celaeno; Taygeta and Alcyone;
