Description

The Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters, are one of the most famous star clusters in the sky. They are easily visible by the unaided eye and have been mentioned in many ancient texts including some calendars, Homer's Iliad & Odyssey, and the Bible. Present throughout the Pleiades are reflection nebulae- dust being reflected by nearby bright stars.
