      Description

I have been wanting to shoot this one for a long time even since I saw Don Goldman's version. MWP1 (Motch-Wener-Pakull) is a very old PN (estimated 150k years) in Cygnus. Unlike the "usual PNs" that dissipate in 10k-20k years, this one has endured for much longer. This is a pretty large PN and is also the oldest we know so far. The PN is a bipolar nebula with a faint OIII envelope. The Ha is even more fain and it is barely visible as red in inside the Nebula.

With sweltering heat in Central texas, we also are getting clear/steady skies (Talk about lemonade from lemons!) and I decided to pile on as much data as I can on this.
I shot all night for multiple nights on this target and got good bit of OIII. I have not had good RGB stars for some reason (Wondering if I have a slight mis collimation in play here with a lop sided flare that needs to be checked on next visit to the obs).

Overall very happy with this Ha-OIII-RGB version.
