Description

I brought my gear outside as soon as it was dark enough to see Polaris. The sky was relatively

clear. However by the time I got everything set up and my mount polar aligned clouds had moved

in. Clouds completely blocked the sky to the Southeast and South. I could only see a few stars

in that direction. A lot of the sky to the North and East was blocked by clouds. I could see

Cygnus directly overhead and as far as I could tell there were no clouds there. So I decided I

would try and image the nebulosity surrounding Sadr. When I last imaged this area there was

a 3/4 Moon up. Tonight there was a sliver of a Moon but it dropped below the horizon for most

of my imaging. Clouds did interfere with my imaging a little but I would stop imaging and then

begin imaging again when the clouds passed. This summer was the first time I've imaged

in and around Cygnus but I've gotten to where I really like the area. It's loaded with nebulosity.

Anyway with all of that said please enjoy my most recent image of Sadr and Vicinity.
