Description

So this was acutally my first attempt to capture the night sky. I had just acquired my first telescope and was gazing at the moon. It took some time to finally find that "little" guy and I experienced for the first time just how fast he can run out of your field of view.

After a while I grabbed my smartphone, pointed my telescope a little bit ahead of the moon and then took multiple shots through the eyepiece. Almost all of them were either out of focus or the moon wasn't really in the field of view. This picture however is one of the few that looked pretty decent, considering they were taken through the eyepiece with a cheap smartphone. It's not exactly sharp and some parts a burned out, but I guess that's to be expected considering the circumstances.

I didn't post process the picture at all, as I barely even knew anything about astrophotography at that time.
