Description

Double star cluster in the constellation Perseus with the open star clusters NGC869 and NGC884 The two star clusters are a few hundred light-years apart. One has around 200 stars and is 5.6 million years old, the other one with its 175 stars, is around 3.2 million years old...so overall they are still relatively young. They are approaching Earth at a speed of approximately 22km per second.
