Description

I had some issues with my typical cooled camera and setup, and was a bit bummed out for a few days that I was going to miss out on the clear nights we've had (that's been rare lately, and a new moon to boot...) My nephew, who is 12, basically said why not use my old DSLR - and honestly I'm not sure why I let it sit and collect dust like I have been lately.
That aside - while the image is not perfect by any stretch of the means, I'm pleased with what just short of 5 hours of exposure time can look like with a simple setup. I would definitely appreciate some constructive criticism. Specifically with ISO settings, etc.
Details:
NGC 2264 & the Rosette Nebula wide field
Canon EOS 2000D (Rebel T7 - modified)
Rokinon 135MM lens @ F2.8 (Stopped it down to try to keep stars in the corner a bit sharper than they would have been.)
William Optics Uniguide 32mm & ASI220 MM Guide camera
ZWO AM5 mount with ASIAIR controlling it.
95 x 180s Excposures @ 800 ISO
50 dark frames
30 flats
30 bias
At the end of the day, it was refreshing to image using my old DSLR again.
