Description

Messier 92

M92 is a globular cluster in the constellation of Hercules. Discovered in 1777 by Johann Elert Bode and is around 26,700 light-years away from us and is estimated to be around 14.2 billion years old.

M92 bright enough to be is visible to the naked eye under very good conditions but is easily observed with even a moderate telescope.
