Cosmic Bridge- IC 1795, NGC 896

I accidentally deleted this image that I posted a couple of days ago, thinking I was deleting a previous version. Sorry about that. This interstellar dust bridge lies some 6000 light years away amidst a large molecular star forming cloud in the constellation Cassiopeia and Perseus arm of our galaxy. I was interested to see so many ionization fronts on the bridge as well as the open area beneath it. I’m guessing there are some pretty energetic stars hidden from our view in NGC 896. The bridge is likely 3 ly wide, based on the known dimensions of IC 1795.

This is first light for a newly arrived Atik 16200. Telescope is AT16 RC. 7 hr Ha 5nm
