Description

The flaming Star Nebula is part emission and part reflection nebula in the constellation of Auriga.
It is about 1,500 light years away and about 5 light years wide.

3 hours on this over 2 nights while I was waiting for my main target to rise.
Poor seeing and poor guiding with 50% of my subs discarded in first session but far better on the second night allowing longer subs.
Hard to see any nebulosity on individual subs and so not easy to process.
