Description

I initially set out to capture the Jellyfish Nebula, but test shots revealed I had a nasty reflection from the bright star Propus bouncing off my Newt's secondary mirror support.  (I'll get that target next time with a refractor.) So I decided to image the Rosette Nebula yet again, which never seems to get old.   This time, armed with the QHY268M and Starizona Nexus (I didn't have either last year), I thought I'd capture enough narrowband exposure time to do this target justice.  Thanks to the Starizona Nexus, which allowed me to shoot at f3, two nights of exposure time captured enough data for a satisfactory result.
