Description

While Saturn's diameter (116,460 km) is 9 times greater than Earth's, the three moons pictured, Dione, Tethys, and Mimas are less than 1/3 the diameter of our moon. Dione at the top is 1123 km wide and Mimas, the leftmost in the image,  is only about 396 km wide. Our moon by comparison has a diameter of 3475 km.
