Description

This is the "Sibling of the Milky Way," NGC 6744. A spiral galaxy 30 million light years from earth. It's located in the constellation Pavo which can only be seen in the southern hemisphere. I captured this from a remote observatory in Chile, and I actually forgot about it altogether until I logged back in a few days ago. Hope you enjoy!
