Description

First image in 2023! After months of bad weather, fired up the rig with  clear skies. I picked a bright target to get something complete quickly. Always a fan of PNs and I figured that I could check this one off.  NGC6781 is a fairly large (1.9x1.9') . This is a bipolar nebula that resolves pretty quickly in narrowband. In broadband, it shows as a broken shell.. but in Narrowband, both the lobes are easily visible.

This is 1.5 nights of data but ended up with only 8 hours of usable data. . I also had some wind issues causing some star issues in OIII , but I ended up using some of that data (which can be seen in the stars having blue lobes). In spite of that, I would call this a success to be able to get something out after months!
