Description

Shot from a remote Bortle 2 site without internet, used NINA's off-line framing with just the labels and subs were dim, so I admittedly framed it somewhat blind and cut off the “nose.”  I actually like this alternate perspective.   Most who display IC 4592 as the "Blue Horsehead" do so as an inverted upside-down image, with the nose to the left.  The image below is true and upright.  Jabbah, the bright blue star to the upper right, illuminating the blue wall, is a double star, easily split in this image.  IC 4601, the star cluster and reflection nebula to the lower left, should be the "Blue Baboon'", with two blue eyes and an orange nose.  BOTH "eyes" of the baboon are double, the left widely-split, the right barely split.
