Description

For those who don't know, LUDO is my telescope, the "LUcky imaging DObson" ;)
I had one hour to spare last night with the T560, and i got some subs of the same star that JWST used to control its alignment. I like to put things in perspective, and I wanted to take a full grasp af the sheer power in the new james webb telescope... and wow, that thing is powerful indeed.

Of course, for a real comparison, you need to see the original james webb image :

Night was good. FWHM around 1.5", 9000x500ms sorted out of 15000 images.

You can recognise the field on my image, but not much more. For reference, 1 pixel on my image is equal to 0.25", and the galaxy up left ( PGC61099 ) is around 30" diameter. Field is 5.5' x 2.8'

Hope you will like my little experiment , now looking forward to JWST first official images !

Romain
