Description

It's hard to believe this our first image on four months from California. And, of course, it was near full moon. So when the moon throws light at us it's time for a star cluster!

Processing was very simple:

Lum:
DBE
blurxterminator

RGB:
channel combination
dbe
blurxterminator
spcc
ghs
LRGBCombination (to add in L)
unsharp mask (very very mild)

The really unusual thing here is I didn't stretch the luminance. We use 900s luminance files and the main stars were already bright enough. Also the GHS stretch on the RGB was very mild. Because of the very mild (and for L non-existent) stretches no noise reduction was needed.
