Description

I imaged M109 in a total of three nights - 2 in January and 1 in February 2024.

This is my first barred spiral galaxy that I image. Its structure is quite interesting. Despite imaging from the city I think that I managed to capture a lot of details. After processing I can see:
- the spiral arms;
- dust lanes in the spiral arms;
- dust lanes in the core;
- HA regions in the arms.
And all of the above - tucked in a 8.1x5.6 archmin target that is situated 82 million light years from us. I am happy.

CS,
Ivan
