Description

This image is the sum of 1047 60 secs unguided subs taken during the nights of the 12th, 13th and 14th July 2022. Telescope was a Newton 250 F 3.9,  Explore Scientific coma corrector, QHY268M camera, Astronomik 12nm HA filter, on top of a Ioptron CEM60EC. Aquisition, stacking and processing  with Astroart.

Unfortunatelly the correct space for the coma corrector problem has not been solved yet. Therefore I had to crop a big part of the image.

IC 63, together with IC59, is called the "ghost nebula" of Cassiopea, due to its weakness.

The bright star nearby (cropped in the image) is Gamma Cassiopeiae (γ Cas / γ Cassiopeiae).
