Description

Taken between 4:26 and 4:57 am PST...I wasn't aware at the time, but was able to capture the break in the ion tail, apparently caused by the sun's bursts (gamma ray?).  Faint tail, however in Bortle 5 skies and facing North towards the city of Seattle, this is the best image I can manage with my limited editing skills.
