Description

This project has been a nightmare. Hundreds and hundreds of satellite trails made the rejection algorithms fail during integration. I had to use very aggressive Winsorized sigma clipping that destroyed my precious data, but at least it helped extract the tracks a little. It is sad to say this rather mediocre photograph has more than 21 hours of data. It does not look like it indeed But I did my best to get something out of it.
I wasn't going to publish it but... I've dedicated so many hours to it, integrating, re-integrating, time and time again, processing, reprocessing... that I've decided to keep it.

Hopefully in the future I can get clean data. I don't exactly know if it is always an area crowded with satellites or that changes over time... if it depends on my observing location and latitude and the same satellite population affects other targets in different latitudes. My knowledge on that is limited. What is clear to me is that every night and every hour I have been shooting this target, they didn't rest and they were accompanying the object.
