Description

Just after midnight on April 17th, 2024, I managed to capture some images of Asteroid 439439 (2013 NK4), which recently flew past Earth on the 15th at around 8.5 lunar distances (https://bbs.zwoastro.com/d/18118-asteroid-439437-2013-nk4-makes-a-close-approach-on-april-15th).

I've combined my images captured with a ZWO Seestar S50 into a short animation showing the asteroid's movement over the course of approximately 2 minutes. Even in such a short amount of time, it's movement is noticeable.
