Description

NGC 7129 - NGC 7129 is a reflection nebula and star-forming region in the constellation Cepheus. It is located about 3,300 light years from Earth and is visible for most of the year from the northern hemisphere.
The nebula is illuminated by a young open cluster of stars that are less than a million years old. A recent survey found that the cluster contains more than 130 stars. NGC 7129 is also known as the Rosebud Nebula for its rose-colored, rosebud-shaped nebula.
