Description

Well, the story is, (as usual there is one) that it rains every day, hail and strong winds, my scope is over the roof of my house covered with two layers of astronomical waterproof "tarps", that is inside a small DIY wood, tarp and hinged doors to open the sky and protect from the wind observatory, and it takes like 10 minutes from powering all up to start imaging, and Sunday I woke up at 2:30 am or so to go to the bathroom and from the corner of my eye I saw darkness outside, usually clouds reflect white ish glow to the bath window and I opened the little ventilation window and there where the stars, so I took a hoodie and up to the rooftop and got my first image of Mars (search for the previous image to show it to you), long time without a glance to this little buddy, its so beautiful, and well, there is something about getting to give a glance to a celestial object with the flesh, with the nerve reacting to light, it's overwhelming, so, the story, and then changed to the Hyperstar configuration and there it was the Triangulum Galaxy, that day I got 44 minutes and Yesterday morning (August 26th) was the same, I got one more hour getting like 1h50m of integration, I know my black point is "black" as nothing real, but, what the h... for me its a milestone to try the Hyperstar with such a great Galaxy and the IDAS LPS D3 filter, still a little cloud that I couldn't grasp in the blink process in PixInsight, anyway almost got my eyes into tears from the result. Let me know what you think, Regards
