Description

An attacking Shark or a Megalodon hunting in the primordial seas of our planet. This is how this fabulous celestial body appears to us, drawing an image that only the hand of God can imagine and create.
All we can do is be amazed by the wonder that our instruments manage to capture.
The Shark Nebula is located in the constellation Cepheus and is part of a large molecular cloud of gas and dust. To make it more interesting we find objects such as the dark nebula (LDN1235), the reflection nebulae Vdb 149 and 150 (in blue colour) which enter the image only prospectively.
Finally, on the right at the edge of the image is the galaxy PGC67671.
The molecular cloud is about 1000 light years from our solar system.

As with all celestial bodies made up of dark nebulae, molecular dust, reflection nebulae, we are forced to look for splendid dark and transparent skies in order to have good results. In fact, these objects cannot be portrayed with anti-pollution filters under polluted skies.
But the beauty of it is precisely this, being able to still enjoy the beauty of the starry sky above our heads.
