Description

I haven't shot M42 in a few years, so I wanted to give it another go with my new AT60EDP and ASI2600MC-P. M42 is low on the horizon and gets into the treeline quickly, so I could only get a handful of subs over a couple different nights. This is a total of 83 60-second subs at gain 100/offset 30, and 10 180-second subs because I messed up the scheduler (I was going to have it switch to the Rosette as it's a little higher).

Shot with my AT60EDP petzval scope, CEM40, and ASI2600MC-P. Calibrated with 50 each darks, flats, and 300 bias. Because why not. Captured with Stellarmate OS X and processed in PI via WBPP, SPCC, BXT, NXT, GHS Saturation, SXT, MaskedStretch, curves, PixelMath. C&C welcome! Might have gone overboard on the saturation, but I kind of like it.
