Description

Had this image ( IC 1295) down as a possible target but because of it's size I felt that it really needs a larger telescope to do it justice.
With the C11 requiring perfect seeing conditions and having not many clear nights I decided that I would give the MN190 a try.
Having the globular cluster in the frame helped with the smaller focal length.

NGC 6712 is a Globular Cluster in the Scutum Constellation. NGC 6712 is situated close to the celestial equator. It lies at a distance of 22,500 light-years with a visible brightness of 8.1 mag.

IC 1295 is a planetary nebula in the constellation Scutum. It was discovered in 1867 by Truman Safford. It lies roughly 4,700 light-years away. The central star of the planetary nebula has a spectral type of hgO.
IC 1295 consists of multiple shells, gaseous layers which once were the star’s atmosphere. This ghostly green bubble is surrounding the dim and dying star which is illuminating the nebula and making it glow. The color depends on the make up of gas. Green comes from ionized oxygen particles.
