The Best Summer Project Ever

Description

This was a big effort but worth every bit of time and money.   My high bortle zone makes my ability to image every second I can important.  It takes less than 5 minutes from deciding to image to running my pre-programmed NINA sequence.   Close up is even less.   It definitely lets me maximize the use of my investment in equipment.  I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested.  (Just don't do it in the middle of a lumber shortage like I did.  It was really difficult to spend $8 on 2x4.)

My roof is not automated, but that will happen in the near future once I decide on how I will implement the hardware and will program the controller.

Thank you to my artist friend Brenda who I commissioned to paint a mural inspired by my first, serious DSO image from my new observatory, the pillars of creation.
