Description

My very first light with the Tak FSQ-106 EDX4. The target is the SNR IC 443 aka "the Jellyfish Nebula".
I was a bit apprehensive due to all the press about its collimation and astimagtism woes.
Interestingly biggest challenge was getting tilt out of the image train. The other challenge was realizing that it is very temperatture sensitive.
Once I got the tilt out of the system and allowed the scope to cool down before capturing images, I had great stars all over the ASI 6200 MM sensor per AI.
In spite of the incessant clouds, the bright moon and challenges with  WBPP in PI, which all of a sudden did not want to work right, I managed to get some subs for an image.
All in all, I really enjoyed shooting with the scope.
