This might be the last image from me for a while... don't worry, I'm going nowhere, just will spend a exchange semester abroad in Australia, where I won't be able to bring my Newton.
However, I will try to get some Milkyway shots from down under if I find the time
If German weather is friendly, I might do one more image before my trip, M78 is in the planning, but needs some good weather so I can gather darks site data from the Alps.

This is my last image from 2023. I may have taken until 2024 to process it, but I consider it a 2023 image. Overall I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I wish I had the time to gather some more data on it, but our weather in Germany wasn't the best recently. Most of October - December was cloudy. Of the few clear nights, I further missed 2 of them, after we got completely snowed in in the beginning of December. It was a wild time, I think I have never experienced such intense snow fall in such a short time at my place. I didn't find the time to clear my usual spot from snow, so I skipped 2 nights :/.
This is my first SHO image with my Antlia Narrowband filters. I am very happy with them.
