Description

NGC7822 is a star forming region in Cepheus, and as such it also features some nice "pillars of creation". So a good target to do narrow band imaging when the Moon is near full. At a declination of 67 deg it also keeps a good distance to the moon while taking Oiii data. The object is actually way too big to fit the frame when aiming at it with long focal length, even if I would have a full frame camera, which I don't (Santa, listen please!). Most sub frames here on astrobin focus on the pilar rich SE corner, while here I take a shot on the Northwestern corner, which also features the young star cluster Berkeley 59 - which give the frame a nice contrast, I think.
GHS by @David Payne and @Mike Cranfield was a crucial tool to work out the contrasts - thank you!

Data were taken on Nov 12, 13, and 14.
