Description

While i was waiting for the NGC 3718 to get high enough to clear the trees, i used couple of hours to photograph NGC 2403. It is a beautiful galaxy, resembling a little but the M33 in Triangulum. Thanks to its considerable size and brightness, it was discovered already in 1788 by a German-born British astronomer William Herschel. Despite that, it is much less known and in comparison to other 'popular' galaxies, also rarely photographed. This is my first attempt to portrait it, but i think i will be back to this object in the future. Thanks to its relative size and brightness,
