I'm having some tilt issues so you'll notice that the stars towards the edges are oddly shaped. I plan to go back and correct it in the next few days. As always, any critique on my acquisition or processing techniques is welcome. Thanks for taking a look.
The Lion Nebula (Sh2-132) is a faint emission nebula located approximately 10,000 lightyears from Earth and located in the Perseus Arm of the our galaxy. Several massive stars in the region are responsible for ionizing the gas, specifically, two Wolf-Rayet stars, HD 211564 and HD 211853. Wolf-Rayet stars are huge and hot and have a white-blue coloration. These stars are at least 20 times more massive than our Sun and can be hundreds of thousands or even millions of times brighter. In addition, they tend to be eruptive and possess extremely high solar winds.
