Description

Very early in the morning 8. Dec-2022 there was an Moon, planet Mars occultation in CPH Denmark.

The weather conditions up to the event was very 'unstable' , but app. 20 min. before the event the sky was clear from clouds in the moon direction.
Up to the event there was a lot of drifting clouds & there was also freezing temperatures all night long.

The upper left image show a lucky imaging stack of 200 Firecaptured frames taken with a 16" SCT ACF F10, FL app. 4 meters and a ZWO asi662MC camera.
Meaning this image show the event as it happened early in the morning 8. Dec-2022 :-) and several more Firecaptured stacks of 200 frames was also stored at the obs. PC HDD.

A Moon image made of few single recorded frames and these were taken 7. Dec-2022 app. 8.30 pm. using a WO FLT-110 mm refraktor F7. The camera was a ZWO asi1600MM and a Baader 36 mm red filter was used.
A Mars Firecaptured stack, also the lower left image, was taken around 11.30 pm. 7. Dec-22 with a 16" SCT ACF F10 when the planet was standing higher in the sky, and the best 20% of 10000 frames was used to make the collage image shown in the middle part.
A ZWO asi662MC camera and a Baader 36 mm UV-IR cut filter was also used.

The upper right corner show a Mars image taken 15. Dec-2022. A Firecaptured stack of 10000 frames where the best 10% was used for further processing. A ZWO asi662MC camera and a Baader 36 mm UV-IR cut filter was used.

The lower right Mars image was also taken 15. Dec-2022. A Firecaptured stack of 10000 frames where the best 25% was used for further processing. A ZWO asi662MC camera and a Astronomik 36 mm IR-807 pass filter was used.

Edit info.
Please check out the revision "B", "C" and "D" images, thanks.

As usual it's taken in a light polluted area, Bortle 6 sky looking south, Bortle 7 sky the other directions/surroundings.
My home build observatory is placed in my front yard/in the "red light" pollution zone, have a look here,
Red Zone
Kind regards Niels
