Description

The Veil Nebula (also known by the Caldwell Catalog codes C 33 and C 34) is a large diffuse nebula visible in the southeastern part of the constellation Cygnus. The nebula is an ancient supernova remnant; the star that gave rise to this object exploded several millennia ago. What is now visible are very weak filaments, still expanding at a speed of tens of km/s; in the long exposure photos or with a CCD we can distinguish several filaments arranged in three main groups: the most westerly is that of NGC 6960 (C 34), in the direction of the brilliant star 52 Cygni  REPROCESSED BY CHANGING THE CYAN INITIALLY GIVEN TO A BLUE/AZURE....GAVE SHARPNESS, CONTRAST, CLARITY AND SATURATION I REMEMBER THE TECHNICAL DATA   Skywatcher 200/800P quatto +artesky x0.95 reducer Room asi zwo 294 MC Optolong L-extreme filter Eq6 mod Rowan Skywatcher 80/400(guide) Zwo Asi 224 (guide)  50 lights of 300" with gain 120 and offset 8 temperature -5° Dark, dark flat and flat APT, SHARCAP, PIXINSIGHT, PHOTOSHOP
