Description

NGC 6744 is a Magnitude 9.14 intermediate spiral galaxy 20'x13' arcminutes in size about 30 million light-years away in the constellation Pavo. It is considered as a Milky Way mimic in the immediate vicinity, displaying fluffy arms and an elongated core.  A long time between clear nights and I will go back to some glorious galaxies in Pavo, hopefully in RGB, as soon as the weather co-operates. Always a royal pain watching the new moon sail past buried in clouds and rain.
So I revisited a troublesome moasic from 2020 and this time got a result.
