Description

NGC281 is a bright emission nebula in Cassiopea and is part of the Milky Ways Perseus arm.  It was recently estimated at 9200 ly from Earth.

This is the third time that I have imaged this object, once with an 8" SCT, once with a 130mm refractor, and now with my TEC-200 8" refractor.  I'm getting happier with the results each time.  I guess it's time for a new telescope.
