Description

M 56 is a globular star cluster  in the constellation Lyra. It was discovered by Charles Messier in 1779. It is about 32,900 light years from Earth.

This was an easy target for a short test picture of my new 6 inch Schmidt Cassegrain with the Starizona reducer.  Effective focal length is 1224 mm taken at bin2.
