Such a week with mixed weather often comes to an end quickly. There were beautiful days on Norderney, an East Frisian island in the North Sea. Lots of sunshine during the day and mostly clouds at night with a few rain showers. I had more planned. It often turns out differently. The equipment should not have been in the suitcase for nothing. On the last evening there should be no clouds, from 10:00 p.m., then from 00:00 a.m., then from 01:00 a.m. I persevered and was somewhat rewarded. At around 1:30 a.m. the longed-for cloud hole. The Milky Way could also be seen briefly towards the horizon. I got 10 shots of 30 seconds each, I used six of them for this scenery and one with static tracking. The Lagoon Nebula (M 8) can already be seen in the veil below.

So eine Woche mit durchwachsenen Wetters geht oft schnell zu Ende. Es waren schöne Tage auf Norderney, eine ostfreisische Insel in der Nordsee. Tagsüber viel Sonnenschein und Nachts meistens Wolken und auch ein paar Regenschauer. Ich hatte mehr geplant. Oft kommt es anders. Das Equipment sollte nicht umsonst im Koffer gewesen sein. Am letzten Abend sollte es Wolkenfrei werden, ab 22:00 Uhr, dann ab 00:00 Uhr, dann ab 01:00 Uhr. Ich harrte aus und wurde etwas belohnt. Um etwa 01:30 Uhr das ersehnte Wolkenloch. Kurz war die Milchstraße auch visuell Richtung Horizont zu sehen. mir gelangen 10 Aufnahmen je 30 Sekunden, sechs davon hatte ich für diese Szenerie genutzt und eine mit ruhender Nachführung. Unten schon in den Schleiern zeigt sich der Lagunennebel (M 8).
